The foundation of Jayant group was laid in 1958 by late Shri Jayantilal Maganlal Chahwala. He was an entrepreneur at heart and having learnt the tea business from his father made him visualize the scope of opportunity in Navsari, Gujarat. He started his business from a tea shop in Mota Bazar, Navsari and after that there was no looking back. At the initial stage of his business Mr. Bhimbhai Kikabhai Patel was a hand to him who served him throughout in his business.
